It’s a long way from McIntyre!
Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and her mom, “Mama June” Shannon, were in Hollywood over the weekend to do a round of press interviews. (They appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night.)
Ever since their TLC show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, debuted a couple of months back, the pint-sized pageant queen and her outspoken, fun-loving Southern family have become instant celebrities. So what better place to visit than the home of the glitterati?
June – the couponing expert and ” ‘sketti” chef par excellence – found time to snap some pictures of her 7-year-old youngest daughter as they toured Tinseltown, taking in the sights. She shared the best of them on the family’s official Facebook page.
The mom and daughter went shopping at The Grove and bowling at Lucky Strike, had lunch with the show’s publicists and strolled the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They did run into one snag: They wanted to check out the famous Pink’s Hot Dogs stand, but arrived just a few minutes short of their opening time.
So will this introduction to the glamorous life turn Alana into a California girl? Nah. Her heart belongs to Georgia, and June has assured her fans that she doesn’t intend to let success change her family.
