Eva Longoria To Gain Millions In Divorce From Tony Parker

On Wednesday (Nov. 16), Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs. Rumors are afloat that Parker was caught sexting another woman for the last year. So now that we know Parker was cheating, how much will Longoria earn from the high-profile divorce?

I love Longoria, but I always knew it was a matter of time before we saw the “Parker” erased from her Desperate Housewives opening sequence moniker. It’s the kiss of death. Cough, Courtney Cox, cough.

Enough with the fun stuff. Let’s talk money.

The filing on Wednesday stated that the couple, who have no children, do have a prenuptial agreement, but no details have been disclosed. Longoria asked the court to require each side pay its own attorney fees. She also wants to receive spousal support from Parker but not pay any to him.

Conveniently for Longoria, Parker, 28, signed a multiyear extension with the Spurs two weeks ago worth $50 million. At the time, the point guard from France insisted he and Longoria wanted to remain in San Antonio.

The former couple each posted a statement on their Twitter accounts addressing the divorce. “We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness,” the posting said.

Longoria earns $250,000 an episode for her starring role on DH. Parker earns around $20 million a year including endorsements. Without a prenuptial everything would have been divided down the middle. But, with cheating involved things could get tricky for Parker. I am sure he will have to pay a hefty amount of spousal support.

How much do you think Longoria deserves?
