Kraft Foods CEO Irene Rosenfeld is one majorly powerful woman and she’s using that power to help make a difference for our children!
Forbes magazine is out with its annual list of the most powerful women in the world and Kraft Foods CEO has pulled into the number two spot. This working mom of two daughters has been at the helm of Kraft Foods since 2006 and has steadily been rising as a woman of power.
Of being named t the list Rosenfeld says, “I don’t think a lot about that designation. I am mostly focused on ensuring that our business is delivering. But if there’s going to be a list, it’s nice to be on it.”

In the same week that she’s being named to the power list, Rosenfeld has set her sights on making a difference to communities around the globe. During Kraft’s annual Delicious Difference Week, Irene Rosenfeld is urging the company’s employees around the world and give back to their communities. This year’s event is being considered the largest employee volunteer event in Kraft Foods history with activities planned in 40 countries.
Rosenfeld and Kraft Foods are teaming up with hundreds of non-profit organizations worldwide to help build communities, events include building playgrounds, planting, community gardens, volunteering at food banks and supporting activities that benefit nutrition, education and active play for kids.
Rosenfeld is the mother to two daughters – Carol and Allison.
