A celebrity fan’s week just isn’t complete without at least one new tantalizing rumor of a movie or TV star possibly being pregnant.
This week, it’s Khloe Kardashian Odom who’s the subject of said gossip. Yesterday, a photographer got a shot of her leaving the Andy Lecompte Salon in L.A. that’s revving up the “is she…?” buzz again.
HollywoodLife.com posted the picture, which shows Khloe wearing a long, loose white top over black pants just tight enough to reveal a little roundness around the belly.
Khloe is also carrying a laptop case and small shopping bag in front of her, as if to hide her midsection from prying eyes.
Naturally, reporters are jumping to conclusions faster than Gabby Douglas jumps off the vault.
But should we believe the rumors this time?
The smart money is on “no.”
Sure, the photo shows her looking a little rounded. But that could just as easily be the result of an extra cookie as a growing baby. If anything, Khloe seems to be working at bringing her weight down. Her recent tweets include messages like “I love starting my day out in the gym and getting a surprise visitor…my mom!” and “Had the best workout today!” – this last one appearing just about the time the picture was taken.
She also had a message for critics the other day: “Still get disgusted by how people judge others by weight. Either “fat” or “skinny”. Nothing is ever good enough…”
And oh, yes – what happened to that other rumor from earlier this week? You know, the one that said husband Lamar Odom decided they should stop trying to have a baby while he focuses on his basketball career?
We all know Khloe wants a family. And it looks like she’s trying her best to make it happen. If that tummy bulge really is a baby and not merely a couple of extra pounds, great. But if not, maybe we should lay off the bump-buzz for a while? It’s not like she doesn’t have enough stress, right?
