Is Lindsay Lohan Ready To Forgive Dad Michael Lohan?

Lindsay Lohan reunites with her dad in rehab

In an interesting turn of events, Lindsay Lohan, who once said “I think my biggest focus for myself is learning how to continue to get through the trauma that my father has caused in my life,” reunited with her father Michael this past weekend.

Lindsay who is currently undergoing treatment for her drug addiction, met with her father at the clinic and according to RadarOnline.com “It was an emotional reunion… there were hugs, kisses and even a few tears when Michael and Lindsay first saw each other,”
“Lindsay met Michael at Betty Ford and the pair spent hours together… it was not a fleeting encounter, this appeared well-planned in advance,”
“They also went shopping at a local Palm Desert mall, where they were seen walking around together and at one point, were in a jewelry store.”

This is a pretty big step for the troubled starlet who has trashed her father time and again in the past for his behavior.

RadarOnline asked Michael how his day with his daughter went and he replied; “I have pledged not to comment about anything relating to my daughter.

“However, what I will say is that I am an incredibly proud father tonight. My daughter is progressing extraordinarily well.”

Um, Michael, that’s still commenting! Really a simple ‘No Comment’ will suffice! I’m pretty sure one of the main reasons that Lindsay swore off contact with him was because he couldn’t keep himself from talking to the tabloids.

Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come between the two. Lindsay is also rumored to be attending therapy with her dad once she’s completed her rehab so that she can get to the bottom of her ill feelings towards him.

I have a feeling though that this won’t be the last we hear from Michael Lohan.
