Emmy-nominated actress Sofia Vergara may be a shining star on the award-winning show Modern Family, but she may also have a future in politics–as Florida’s first lady, that is. According to the New York Post, Vergara’s boyfriend, Nick Loeb may be considering a run for governor of the Sunshine State, placing Vergara in the first lady spot.
Loeb, 35, has run for office before–for the Florida senate and the Delray Beach city commission–but, though both attempts were unsuccessful, the New York Post is touting his governor idea as pretty serious.
If Loeb did become Florida’s main man, it would definitely put Vergara in an interesting position. “This would make a hell of an encore, but don’t expect Vergara to put her career on hold like Maria Shriver,” the Post’s source said. (Shriver, a journalist, did indeed put her career on hold when husband Arnold Schwarzenegger became California’s governor.)
Do you think this celeb mom would make a good politician’s wife?
