It’s Official! Bethenny Frankel Quit Real Housewives of NYC! Why Did She Leave?

By Sunny Chanel |

After much speculation on will she or won’t she, Bethenny Frankel has made it official. She will not be returning to the turbulent world of the Real Housewives of New York City. Bravo invited her to rejoin the cast of the show that made her famous, but she has rejected their offers.

So why did she quit?

“Last season was scary and painful,” she told UsWeekly. She added, “it took all of the joy out of it.” Having on screen fights with Kelly Bensimon and Jill Zarin never looked like a walk in the park. The new mom, who’s busy with her own spin off show, Bethenny’s Getting Married? told Us that she doesn’t, “see any reason to go back.” But she won’t totally disappear from RHONY, she is “contractually bound to make a few appearances on RHONY next season.” Bravo is still hoping she’ll have a change of heart and come back full-time. But Bethenny added, “My gut’s saying not to be part of this cast.”

Do you think Bethenny should come back to the Real Housewives of New York, especially now that she actually is a wife?
