It's Official! Snooki Chooses Her Son's Name

By shanaaborn |

Are they expecting a Jionni Jr.?

The newest guido of Jersey Shore has a name all picked for him when he enters the world in just a couple of months.

In an interview last month, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi said she and fiance Jionni LaValle had pretty much settled on a name for their unborn son. Yesterday, when USA Today interviewed the entire cast, the truth came out.

Snooki’s castmate/BFF Jenni “JWoww” Farley blurted out the name to the interviewer, then tried to backpedal by saying it was a name Snooki was “thinking about.” Snooki fessed up, “No, it’s done.”

And that name, if you recall, is…Lorenzo.

It’s a perfect choice. It’s solid, not overly trendy, reflects Dad’s Italian heritage (it means “man from Laurentum” or “laurel”) and sounds as good on a baby as it does a teen or adult. Plus, as Snooki points out, it can be shortened to the equally cool nickname Enzo.

Watch your TV listings in 2034, folks. Betcha anything you’ll see the premiere of The Shore Revisited: Enzo LaValle Takes Jersey!

What do you think of the name, moms?
