It’s a big year for the Trump family – Donald Trump Jr. and his wife are expecting baby #3 this year, and Ivanka Trump is expecting her first child. While she’s been mum about when she’s due and what she’s having (she hinted it was a girl), she has finally revealed to Harper’s Bazaar her official due date and the sex of the baby!
The savvy real estate heiress, fashion entrepreneur and Celebrity Apprentice judge, opens up about her motherhood expectations, pregnancy cravings, and more in the June issue of the magazine.
So when is she finally having that baby and what is it? She finally revealed that she’s officially due on July 14, and she also confirmed that she’s having a girl.
While I’ve told you before about how differently her and her pregnant sister-in-law eat, she opened up and told the magazine that her biggest craving is a double-toasted salt bagels with cream cheese.
She also talks about how she’s already thinking way ahead about her mommy responsibilities in the future: “I do have a bit of first-time-mom syndrome. I’m already on what I should be doing when she is three and when I should introduce new languages,” including French and Mandarin Chinese.
She also wants to make sure that her and her husband Jared Kushner don’t raise a monster: “We have our work cut out for us to ensure that our daughter is grounded and not spoiled.”
And Ivanka is definitely not thinking about being a stay-at-home mom. In fact, she’s talking about how she will be feeding her newborn while working at the office! “I work so close [to home] that I figured I’d return to work and the baby nurse would bring the baby to me, and I’d run home periodically, and I’d make it work. But every two hours? That’s a whole other level. I’ll have to make a nursery at the office.”
And is she going to stop after having her first baby? “I’d love to have three or four kids,” she says. “But my mom always says, Speak to me after you have your first.'”
Yep, listen to your mother Ivanka! Mommyhood is a lot of work!
Ivanka also recently talked about how when she started feeling the baby move, her pregnancy seems “all the more real”.
