Rowling’s mom died just six months after Rowling started writing the first book in the Harry Potter series and never to share in her daughter’s phenomenal success.

“I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth,” Rowling says. “I’m not going to say I won’t. I don’t think I will … I feel I am done, but you never know.”
Even though she has become one of the richest women in the world, Rowling still holds tight to the money worries she had as a single mother when she started out as a writer.
Today she ismarried to her second husband, anesthesiologist Dr. Neil Murray, with whom she parents three children.
