Jacqueline Laurita Is Taking Time Off From Reality Television To Be With Her Family

The Real Housewives of New Jersey just won’t be the same without Jacqueline Laurita, but according to the celebrity mom, she’s got other priorities in her life right now.

The mother-of-three has made it official that she won’t be returning for Season 6 of the hugely popular Bravo show, and is instead taking time off to be with her family and her 4-year-old son Nicholas, who has autism.

“Right now, I’m really just enjoying time with my family and I’m writing a few books,” Jacqueline said in an interview with Life & Style. “My husband and I are writing a book together about our journey with autism.”

While I’m sure that Bravo is going to fill the void with the crazy drama that Jacqueline is going to leave behind, something tells me that she won’t be gone from the small screen for too long. After all, her Season 1 castmate Dina Manzo, who took a hiatus from the show, is returning to Franklin Lanes along with Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga and others, which I’m sure is going to be the biggest and best New Jersey season to date.

Jacqueline, meanwhile, won’t be missing it too much right now. “I needed a little bit of a break, but we’ll see what happens from there,” she said. “It’s just been really great with my family. I feel like I’m in a very good place.”

Tell us Babble readers, are you going to miss seeing Jacqueline Laurita and her family on the Real Housewives of New Jersey? What do you think her next step will be in her celebrity career?
