Jada Pinkett Smith is surely putting an end to her marriage crisis rumors with hubby Will Smith by stating that she’s happy she’s “not a single mom.”
The couple, who have been fighting separation rumors since news broke of an alleged split just last month, have been going to great lengths to prove that all is well on the home front.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, Jada says she feels fortunate to have Will by her side and help with the day-to-day parenting decisions.
Jada tells the mag, “Thank goodness they have a father and I don’t have to raise them alone. Having been raised by a single mother I’m very clean on what the difficulties of being raised by a single mother are.”
The actress adds, “It’s very hard when you don’t have a male component in the home to create the balance and help in the decision making.”
“Sometimes it’s nice to be able to just pass the ball, like tag, you’re it, you’ve got this one.'”
Despite being raised by a single mom herself, Jada says she still has good memories from her childhood, saying, “Growing up, though, being in a one parent family was all I knew. It was just me and my mom and we had fun.”
Jada and Will have three kids, actor Jayden, 13, singer Willow, 10, and stepson Trey, 18.
