Janet Jackson is back in a big way in her new film For Colored Girls. The singer and actress is taking her acting career to a whole new level in the very dramatic role that seems to fit her to a tee. Not only does she have a new film, but Jackson has a new man to keep her company.
She did confirm that she is not engaged to her new beau Wissam Al Mana and is opting to keep the details of the relationship under wraps.
On Good Morning America, Janet Jackson stopped by to hype the movie and dismiss the rumors saying, “They’ve been trying to marry me off for a very long time. I will say I am not engaged.”
“He’s a very private man so I don’t talk about our relationship,” says Jackson. “I don’t talk about our relationship because he is very private.”
It may be private, but Jackson certainly appears to be in a happy place right now. Maybe we will see a commitment and babies in their future sometime soon!
Janet is however showing off another relationship — she plans on bringing her nephew Austin Brown (the son of sister Rebbie) as her date to the red carpet premiere of the movie.
Janet Jackson is starring in the Tyler Perry-directed ‘For Colored Girls,’ which is an adaptation of the book, ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf.’ It is due in theaters on Nov. 5.
