Late actress Janet Leigh was probably most well known for her role of Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic film, Psycho. She won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for the movie and was also nominated for an Academy Award for her performance. She passed away in 2004.
In addition to her acting career, Janet Leigh was once married to actor Tony Curtis, who died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday at the age of 85. Leigh and Curtis married in 1951, and had two children together, both of whom became actresses, Kelly, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Of her marriage to Tony, Janet said, “Tony and I had a wonderful time together; it was an exciting, glamorous period in Hollywood…A lot of great things happened, most of all, two beautiful children.”
Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis were married for 12 years, and divorced in 1963.
