Jennifer Aniston On the Pregnancy Rumors: "I'm Not Knocked Up!"

No maternity wear for Jen yet!

Oh, but we were hoping so hard, weren’t we?

It finally looked as if the rumors of a baby for Jennifer Aniston might just be true. A report last week claimed she was expecting twins with boyfriend Justin Theroux – and even knew she was having a boy and girl. We heard details of the nursery Jen was designing – a two-bedroom affair with every comfort a pair of little ones could want. She just turned 43 over the weekend, and this would have been quite a gift.

But Jen definitively addresses the subject in the new issue of GQ. She says flat-out, “I’m drawing the line on the children conversation. You heard it here. I’m not knocked up now!”

She adds that if she’s looking a wee bit heavier these days, there’s an explanation: “Well, I recently quit smoking, and you do put on some extra pounds. It makes a difference, especially if you’re not 20. I think maybe people want me to have a kid now.”

But judging from one of the photos in the story – where her black-bra-and-miniskirt ensemble shows off a flat tummy – weight is definitely not a problem for her.

Jennifer at least has a sense of humor about the endless rumors. She jokes that Sarah Jessica Parker helped deliver one of her tabloid babies.

But when it comes to the real thing, she’s not feeling any pressure. “I still kind of go with, if it happens, it happens. I’m calm and peaceful with whatever the plan is. It’s not something where I’m going, ‘I gotta have a kid!’”

Oh, and just in case you were thinking that this is a case of wink-wink “denial” and that she’ll make an announcement when the bump starts to show, consider this: At her romantic pre-birthday celebration at the Chateau Marmont the other night, she and Justin were seen enjoying wine with their dinner.

As an expert in fake babies, Jen would be the first to tell you that you don’t toss back the Shiraz when you’ve got first-trimester action going on.
