Earl Watson, who played with the Indiana Pacers last season, filed for divorce yesterday from Jennifer Freeman and was seeking custody of their 10-month-old daughter… then later decided that he would withdraw the request.
TMZ reports that Earl Watson filed legal papers last week in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming “things got bad on August 1st … when Jennifer received a suspicious text message at 11PM and Earl decided to check her phone.”
Jennifer Freeman, who starred on TV’s My Wife and Kids, became angry that he was checking her phone and began hitting him “forcefully twice in the face with her right open hand.”
That’s when Jennifer Freeman started biting her husband he claims that she “grabbed my right wrist and bit … breaking the skin, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood.”
Then she apparently bit Watson’s chest, hard enough to draw blood, and tried to attack him with an iron.
Earl Watson’s lawyer gave TMZ the update on why Watson decided to reconcile and withdraw his divorce petition, saying, “The couple has reconciled their differences and plan to make their marriage work.”
What do you think of Jennifer Freeman’s rage against her husband? Makes one wonder what that text message said!
