Jennifer Lopez Says Having the Twins on Set is "The Best"

It’s been a couple of years since J-Lo was in “Bordertown” and “El Cantante,” but the 39-year-old singer-actress is back on a film set, working on “The Back-Up Plan.” And she says that she loves having twins Max and Emme on the set with her.

“I bring the babies to work with me,” Jennifer Lopez tells Entertainment Tonight. “I love it. Honestly, one of the best days of my life was the first day back working on this film, and bringing my babies with me that morning. It’s great having kids on set. It’s the best.”

Husband Marc Anthony is there, too, to babysit the twins. In the film, due out in theaters next year, Jen plays a gal who is sick of looking for the right guy and wants to be a mom. So she goes for artificial insemination and then meets (former vampire) Alex O’Loughlin, who happens to be The Guy.

Doesn’t this plot sound a little familiar? What is it with all the movies about single moms getting shot up with a turkey baster lately? Jennifer Aniston is doing a movie CALLED “The Baster,” even. Ugh. Shocking that Hollywood is so derivative.

Still, J-Lo is thrilled to be working again, and says that it was not an easy job to get back in shape after Max and Emme were born. “It did take a lot of work,” she says. “I thought it was gonna drop off easily because I had been in shape my whole life, but it wasn’t. I gained about 50 pounds with my twins. The first 30 dropped off just like that, and I was like, ‘Ha, this is gonna be so easy!’ That last 20 – that took a while.”
