Jessica Alba Faces the Rain in Style! (Photos)

Jessica Alba braves the rain while out shopping in West HollywoodOkay, sometimes life just isn’t fair.

It rained today on both U.S. coasts – Los Angeles, home to celebs like Jessica Alba, and New York, where I make my humble home.

Both Jessica and I were out in the damp weather today. She was seen heading out on a local shopping trip, while I was taking my school-vacationing kids out bowling.

She looked like this. Polished, professional, rocking the tweedy coat with white colorblock details and the pale heels. Carrying a red purse that surely has never held a baby wipe or a bag of pretzels.

I looked like…well, let’s just say that it would have been kinder to let the cat drag me in. But then, I was in no danger of having the paparazzi capture me heading into the bowling alley.

So enjoy these shots of lovely Jessica combining fashion, shopping and cell-phone chatting, and be grateful you don’t have the option of looking at a gallery of me exiting my ancient van with an empty take-out coffee cup.
