Losing baby weight has got to be one of the biggest struggles that new mothers go through and agonize over after bringing a little one home from the hospital. Don’t get me wrong…lack of sleep and incessant crying definitely rank right up there as far as newborn problems go, but shedding pregnancy pounds is a huge struggle for most women.
Jessica Alba just gave birth to her second daughter, Haven, back in August, and she’s already back into her skinny jeans and tiny dresses. How did she do it?
Jess admits that she lost the baby weight much easier the second time around mainly because she did not put on quite as many pounds as she did with her first child, Honor.
She said, “I did prenatal yoga up until the very end. I just made healthier choices. I started working out and not going too crazy, but I did what was safe and what the doctor approved.”
Alba supposedly did 40-minute cardio workouts right after giving birth, and now she’s upped the time to 90-minutes, four times a week.
