If Jessica Alba had her own travel show that inspired families with small children to travel the world, I would totally watch it. Why? Because while I have 100,000 plus miles sitting in my frequent flier account from pre-motherhood days, I haven’t used them at all. It’s not that I don’t have a place to go, it’s just my fear of traveling on a long-haul flight with two kids is what makes me opt for local beach trips and weekend cruises instead. I’m sure it can be done, but I’m not sure if I’m fearless enough to try it.
Jessica on the other hand has taken along her entire family on her tour through Asia which has so far included stops in Japan and South Korea. Not only did she bring along her hubby Cash Warren, but she also has her two daughters Honor, 3, and Haven, 9 months, along for the trip. Talk about being an inspiration – how I would so love to take my own kids (ages 4 and 2) on a trip to Disneyland in Tokyo or check out some pretty cool children’s museums in Seoul. It could happen, but then again there’s a part of me that thinks it would be a disaster.
Check out our photos of Jessica’s trip in Seoul and tell us, have you traveled across the world with your kids? What were your experiences? Even though your kids might be young, did you find the trip to be beneficial and rewarding as an experience? I’d love to hear your stories. It might inspire me enough to ditch the Disney Cruise trip for this year and go somewhere far more interesting…
