Actress Jessica Alba is fast becoming one of our favorite down-to-earth celebrity moms in Hollywood. The pregnant mama has recently revealed that both her and her hubby have ditched calorific treats for her pregnancy the second time around and instead have opted to stay healthy with low-fat, low-carb meals.
Jessica, who is married to Cash Warren, admits that the couple “put on a lot of weight” together during her first pregnancy, which she has tried to control with her second.
“I’ve banned my loving husband from cooking a half a pack of bacon every morning and ordering or buying five desserts for dinner every night,” Jessica writes on her blog.
“We both put on a lot of weight the first time around and made a pact this time to eat better,” she adds.
The yummy mummy also says she is staying fit and active, even well into her third trimester. “I’m doing prenatal yoga and taking 30-minute walks through my last trimester,” she reveals.
“I have been blessed with some saviors: an ahhhmazing chiro named Dr. Takahashi and my yoga teacher, Aria. I thank my lucky stars for them.”
Although there’s never been a day in which Jessica has looked bad in front of the paps, we’re pretty sure she’s going to bounce right back to her pre-pregnancy figure in no time.
