Jessica Alba's Day-to-Night Look: Which Do You Prefer? (Photos)Shana Aborn
Let’s face it: When you’re gorgeous, you’re gorgeous. And Jessica Alba is one of those women who simply is stunning, no matter where she goes or what she wears.
In New York City this week to give interviews and check out the prestigious NY Fashion Week, the movie star/mom/natural baby products entrepreneur showed two very different sides of herself as she transitioned through the day.
This morning, as she gave an interview to Extra about her recent appearance on the cover of Self magazine, she wowed the outdoor crowd in a turquoise shift that proved she’s been keeping herself in spectacular shape. (Not bad for a mom of two whose youngest is barely a year old!)
Then in the evening, she changed over to a lovely black number with peekaboo sleeves and neckline and a paisley skirt. Her dark-blond waves were tamed in a chic updo, and her natural makeup went a tad darker.
So which look is better on her? Personally, I love Jessica at her most natural, as befits her philosophy of living simply and healthily. But glamming up suits her just as nicely – and what mother doesn’t enjoy the chance to primp a bit and have some adult conversation every so often?

Amazing in aqua 1 of 6This form-fitting sea-green dress looks amazing on Jessica.
Hold everything 2 of 6Before her interview, Jessica carried a pretty-but-practical tote capable of holding everything a mom could need.
Going formal 3 of 6Shifting gears, Jessica went for a more sophisticated look as she headed out for a Fashion Week event.
From tote to clutch 4 of 6A soiree calls for a smaller, more chic handbag. Looks like this one is big enough to hold the phone Jessica's carrying.
Hair…do! 5 of 6The star's newly lightened hair looks equally sensational in a loose updo as it does down around her shoulders.
The bow: yea or nay? 6 of 6Jessica's sheer-in-the-right-places black paisley dress is smashing. But the back-to-the-80's bow? Maybe not so much. What do you think?
