Jessica Simpson is a real woman with real curves and she gained a whole bunch of real weight when she was pregnant with her daughter Maxwell. That said, it is not surprising that she would struggle losing all that baby weight just like most ‘real’ women.
“I let myself indulge in everything I wanted because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it,” Jessica confessed to USA Today. After indulging in such high calorie foods like her favorite mac & cheese, she found out that the pounds weren’t coming off as easily as she hoped. She said…“I didn’t realize [the weight] didn’t all come off with the baby.” Jessica has a whole lot of pressure to shed the baby weight, not only is she in the very judgmental public eye but she has a very lucrative deal with Weight Watchers. Jessica is hard at work to make it happen. She is working with her personal trainer Harley Pasternak four or five times a week and is mostly doing walking since, as she says, “my boobs are way too big to run at this point.”
She seems to be approaching her weight lose in a very healthy way. “My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel,” Simpson said. “I’m just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself.”
