Jessica Simpson pregnant and Vanessa Lachey.

From one Lachey (former) to another!

Who better to give maternity style advice to Vanessa Lachey than her dear husband Nick Lachey’s ex-wife Jessica Simpson? I mean, Simpson has done the whole pregnancy thing already and she does own a billion-dollar fashion empire!

Sure, it may seem tasteless for Jessica to give such advice or for Vanessa to even want to take it, but you’d be silly not to admit that you still hold out hope for a Nick/Jessica reunion in the not too distant future!

So, upon the fact that these two women are pregnant at the same time, we decided to have a little fun with it and play homage to the billionaire’s maternity style!

Take a look at the “advice” below!

If Jessica can pull off going out in public wearing sweats, than anyone can do it - including you, Vanessa!

Jessica clearly looks ravishing in red and she knew it too. She owned this night.
  • Big Sweaters 6 of 10

Jessica also wore a lot of big sweaters during her pregnancy to hide unflattering curves.
  • Animal Print 7 of 10
    Animal Print
Animal print seems to be in for maternity wear. Just ask Snooki!
  • Dresses 8 of 10
    Dresses
Jessica wore a lot of dresses during her pregnancy. Let's face it. The jeans just didn't fit anymore.
  • Frontal Shots 9 of 10
    Frontal Shots
Try to avoid having any photographs from the front. It's quite unflattering.
  • Designs 10 of 10

Diagonal lines have a way of tricking the eyes and making it seem like the person wearing the design looks skinnier.
