Joe Giudice Is Headed to the Slammer – What It Means for His Girls
Teresa Giudice will be a single mom when her husband Joe heads to jail for a brief sentence of ten days.
Joe, the husband of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, has reportedly been sentenced to ten days in jail in New Jersey. The sentence is the result of an arrest earlier this year for driving without a license. In addition to the jail time, Joe needs to pay a $1,000 fine and will have his license suspended for an additional year.
For her part, Teresa will have her hands full with the couple’s four daughters – Gia, 9, Gabriella, 6, Milania, 5, and Audriana, 1.
The couple will finally have to face some consequences for a very legally turbulent year including bankruptcy, a DUI arrest, and allegations of fraud!
The sentence is the equivalent of a slap on the hand for Joe who was charged in January for driving under the influence. After a night on the town with Teresa, Joe crashed his car into a telephone pole. He was sentenced to 30 days of community service, fined $864, and had his driving privileges revoked for a year.
Although the time away from their dad will be difficult for the family, it is a good lesson for the Giudice girls that there are consequences for your actions.

Dad will go to jail for ten days and they will call that difficult? How difficult will that be? Come on! That article makes it look like she can’t do anything alone..how laughable!
Yeah. 10 days…. bfd!!
They should put Caroline in jail for causing so much drama and pain to everyone. She started all the nonsense by trying to tell everyone who they are allowed to talk to. Joe was on his way home from dinner with Jacqueline and her husband.
It really is just a slap on the hand. Teresa has her parents who help her with everything.
Big deal. Joe needs to go away for a few years.
Maybe if he had told Teresa that they don’t really have all that money, she would have cut back sooner. She believed they had lots of money as many wives do and spend above and beyond because their husbands lie to them.
Ten days means 3 days or maybe even 20 minutes.
It is all BS.
I lost my mother to a drunk driver at a very young age and truly have no respect for people that drink and drive. But at least Joe is taking responsibility’s for his actions, it is best for the girls to know “right from wrong” no one is perfect and the law is the law. Speaking of that who are we to judge how he was punished.. Drivers license revoked, 10 days in jail and fine to pay as long as he follows through it an learns a lesson not just for himself but for his children. With that said I hope he LEARNS a LESSON. Maybe everyone that was around him that night should of been more aware of how much he consumed and taken responsibility for him. There’s a lesson to be learned by Jacqueline and her husband as well.
Caroline is only sticking up for her family and friends she doesn’t cause the drama she gets pulled in to finish it…thank god or there would aways be drama! but Caroline can’t be expected to protect everyone.
