John Travolta came out for the Oscars last night to introduce Quentin Tarantino’s movie Inglorious Basterds as a “Best Picture” nominee, but his son Jett, who passed away in January 2009, is never far from his heart or mind.
“We are working hard on healing, still,” Travolta, 56, said at the Governor’s Ball after the Academy Awards last night. “It’s going to be a lifelong project. Everybody has been so enormously supportive and I really appreciate it.”
Travolta wore jeans and skipped the red carpet, but still looked every part the movie star.
Of course nothing compares to the tragedy of losing a child and we wish his family well as they go forward.
