Here’s one reason why John Travolta’s family is NOT just like us…
They own an airplane. A big one.
Yep. That’s how much money they have! Wowza!
While most of us plan ahead to take time off work to go on vacation, research for weeks to find the best priced airline tickets and hopefully go once every two years, the Travoltas OWN a plane.
Travolta recently purchased a Bombardier Challenger 601 jet that he and his family will use to travel around the world, anytime, anywhere.
“My family fortunately loves traveling,” the newly announced Bombardier brand ambassador told PEOPLE Tuesday.
“Whenever I say, ‘I have to go to Australia or Paris,’ they say, ‘When are we going? I’m there.'”
Must be nice.
“I love [flying] so much that I built my house next to a [runway] so I could fly my jet to my front door,” he said. “I was flying these little sports planes that I have and she showed interest in that. I just love being in the air. It has been my family time. I’ve enjoyed that.”
Travolta has been flying for quite a while, taking lessons when he was only 15 years old. By 23, he had his license. Now, his latest “big purchase” is a “whole new era for us.”
Travolta and Kelly Preston’s 11-year-old daughter Ella already has an interest in aircrafts.
Will baby Benjamin, 9 months, follow in his daddy’s footsteps too?
