John Travolta's Dogs Killed In Freak Accident

The poor Travoltas! Just a little more than a year after John lost his son Jett, the actor and his family have suffered yet another tragedy that comes out of nowhere.

Two of their dogs were killed by an airport service truck while being walked after the family landed at Bangor International Airport in Maine. The dogs were both on leashes and had wandered into the grass.  It was a freak accident.

A statement released by the city of Bangor says: “An airport service pickup truck was approaching the airplane to service the airplane and did not see the dogs. Unfortunately, the dogs were struck and killed. The airport is investigating the accident. Out of respect for the family’s privacy the city will make no further comment.”

And while this is surely hard for John and his wife Kelly Preston, you have to be extra concerned for his ten year old daughter Ella Bleu. Death is always difficult for children, but especially so when it is unexpected and come so close after another loss.
