ABC’s new show Bachelor Pad just premiered last week, but it’s already promising to be a huge hit for Bachelor and Bachelorette fans. Just when we thought that Rose Ceremonies couldn’t possibly get any more dramatic, Bachelor Pad takes them to a whole new level by adding in a lot more tears, a lot more competition, and a lot more controversy.
And the biggest controversy of all is definitely who hooked up on the show and who didn’t. I mean, everyone is curious about the juicy details, right?
Juan Barbieri was the first guy to be voted off last week, and now he’s spilling what he knows about who got a little bit frisky in those bunk-beds.
Juan first cleared the air about what really happened between he and Nikki when he went to visit her in Chicago before Bachelor Pad started taping. According to Barbieri, they “had a wonderful weekend together” and said, “Everything went as normally and naturally as you can imagine and then I came back to LA, my life and other people I was dating. We kept in touch but at no time did we ever talk about pursuing it. I took it for what it was and she obviously took it for something more.”
Um, yeah, usually when you hop a plane to go visit a girl, spend the weekend with her, and spend a little time between the sheets, she usually assumes that something more serious is going on. Or at least that’s what I would’ve though if I were in Nikki’s shoes.
I seriously doubt that Nikki was upset when Juan was voted off the show the very first night.
When asked about what is going on between Elizabeth and Jesse, Juan said that they had an instant connection and are “each other’s types in every way.” He also added that the fact that they live in different states may take its toll on their relationship. And if Elizabeth doesn’t dial down the crazy a bit as far as Jesse goes, I’m guessing that could take its toll too.
The rumored hook-up on the premiere of the show was started by Tenley, who told everyone that Michelle and Craig had gotten a little wild after the lights went out that first night. Juan reports that the rumor is totally false, and thinks that Tenley used it as a strategy move in the game. If she wasn’t trying to pull a fast one on the group, then he thinks she may have mistaken Craig and Michelle for Natalie and Jesse, who were “already making out.” There are two Jesse’s on Bachelor Pad, just in case anyone is getting confused.
Interestingly enough, Juan may have just found himself a match in his fellow cast-off that first night, Michelle Kujawa. The two were spotted canoodling in Las Vegas while watching the premiere together.
Could they be the first Bachelor Pad couple to have a wedding, and maybe even kids?
