How young is too young to get a tattoo? The law generally says you have to be 18 but there are plenty of youngsters who go under the needle before they are really old enough to make such a permanent decision. So, what very famous 16-year-old recently got a tattoo? The one and only Justin Bieber! And what did he get?
A bird. A tiny, itsy bitsy bird on his hip. The teen got the tattoo at the Son of a Gun tattoo parlor in Toronto, Canada. Now, here in the U.S.A., most of the states require that you must be 18 to get tattooed. But in some states, and in some providences in Canada, you can get a tat when you are just 16 with permission from your parent. Or in Jason Bieber’s case, you bring your parent with you. According to Bestweekever.tv Jason’s dad Jeremy Bieber was with him and that this bird tattoo thing is a family tradition with several family members sporting the bird on their wrists.
Do you think 16 is too young to get a tattoo? Would you ever let your 16 year old get one? And how many young girls do you think are begging their parents for the same tattoo right this very second?
