K-Fed Believed His Fat Pics Were Photoshopped

k-fed-fat-200x3001Were the tabloids Photoshopping K-Fed to make him look fatter than he really was last year? No, but K-Fed apparently thought they were. Never underestimate the power of denial.

No one would ever accuse K-Fed of having a really tight grasp on reality or anything, but the fact that he didn’t realize how fat he was getting is almost hard to believe. For awhile there he was well beyond being simply obese.

K-Fed recently admitted to Entertainment Tonight that he was not only in denial about his weight problems, but that he was having trouble walking uphill. I’m trying not to make tasteless jokes about his weight here, folks. I really am.

Says K-Fed:

“When I saw this picture, I did not think I was this big… I thought it was Photoshopped, you know? And then I realized that I was just letting myself go… I could barely make it up the hill on the side of my house.”

Of course, then he finally got to exploit his rapid weight gain by getting cast on VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club and getting paid to lose it — we should all be so lucky.

However, Kevin says that his kids were a big part of his weight-loss as well. Not in the sense that he wanted to be more responsible and have a  healthy long life, but in the way that he simply no longer has time to watch TV and eat Twinkies on the couch.

“It was easier to eat more when they were younger because they weren’t as active… Now all of them want to play sports, hit the T-ball and run around the backyard and ride bikes.”
