Kate Gosselin Banks On 'Moms and Women' AllianceErin Blakeley
Kate Gosselin has been tearing up the dance floor on Dancing with the Stars. Problem is, its not in a good way. Judge Bruno Tonioli has called her dancing skills “dreadful”, “a catastrophe” and “crap”-and that is far from the worst that has been said about them.
But here we are, four weeks in and Kate is still hanging around. So who’s to blame, uh, I mean, take credit, for keeping Kate alive in the competition? Kate thinks its her fellow moms.
“I think it’s moms and women,” Gosselin told People. “The fan base is [ages] 2 to 102. I imagine it’s people who believe in me more than I believe in myself.”
She may be onto something. Both she and her partner, Tony Dovolani, are parents who openly talk about the difficulties of being so far away from their kids for the competition. Could the ‘working parents’ angle be winning them some extra sympathy votes? It’s definitely possible, because let’s face it-nobody thinks this woman can dance.
Kate has one more working theory as to why moms might be in her corner: “People who think Tony is good looking and love his abs!”
Well, whatever it is, its working.
