Have you had to deal with the whole Tooth Fairy thing with your kids yet? I haven’t. My son is five-years old though, so I’m sure that she’ll be paying us a visit sooner rather than later.
If anyone has experience managing the ins and outs of the Tooth Fairy, you’d think it would be Kate Gosselin. As the mom of eight kids, she certainly has her fair share of loose chompers in her household.
After her show, Kate Plus Eight, ended, Kate decided to try her hand at writing by starting her own blog, called Kate Plus My 8.
Her latest post over there is all about the Tooth Fairy…and her struggle to stay on top of the entire “leaving cash under the pillow” routine!
Kate admits that sometimes the Tooth Fairy “misses a pickup” at her house and then repays her debts “in bulk.” Kate had a great tip for parents by telling people that she gets gold dollar coins at the bank for the Tooth Fairy to leave behind instead of leaving cash. I have to say…that is something I never would have thought of and may just have to do for my son. Imagine how excited those kids must be to find gold under their pillow?
Kate also said that the Tooth Fairy sometimes has to make three different stops in her house in one night. That’s quite a few teeth!
You can read more of Kate’s Tooth Fairy adventures here, and she also invites parents to tell their own Tooth Fairy stories!
