Kate Gosselin Misses Reality Show: Not Thrilled Being a Blogger

Whenever anyone asks me what I do and I tell them that I’m a blogger, nine times out of ten I get either a blank stare or a snarky response. A former “friend” of mine asked how blogging can even be considered a job, while another dude I met on an airplane laughed in my face when I told him what my job was.
I guess the joke is on them, because believe it or not, blogging is kind of the hottest thing going right now. It’s such a fun and flexible gig. And it seems like everyone’s doing it…even Kate Gosselin!
After her reality show, Kate Plus 8, was cancelled, Kate landed herself a new role as a blogger for CouponCabin.com. She started the job this week and her first post is set to go live later this month. It sounds like a pretty fun role, but apparently Kate is less than thrilled with her new “blogger” title.
A source told Hollybaby.com, “Kate would do anything to have her own job as a TV host. She’d even do reality TV again if someone asked her to. She’s happy to have something to do while the kids are at school and she knows a lot about being on a budget, so the coupon job is good for her. But is she thrilled to not have cameras with her? No! She craves the spotlight.”
If Kate does somehow find her way back into the television world, I know of hundreds of people who would love to scoop up her coupon blogging gig. She’d better hang onto that job before someone more qualified comes along!

Could the woman be anymore of a whiner? I swear, she’s NEVER happy. She is the epitome of a self-entitled brat.
I hate that some people don’t consider it a real job. If you make money doing it, then it’s a job, period! And if you are a good enough writer and social networker to make money blogging, you should feel incredible proud. Like you said, blogging is hot right now, which means it’s competitive. Bloggers who get enough traffic to earn from their blogs should give themselves a big, ginormous pat on the back!
It takes a smart, intelligent, witty, individual to blog! I feel sorry for that company. I don’t doubt someone else will be doing the blogging but khate will say she wrote it. Well … hope that company does not go bankrupt trying to pay khate’s salary.
