Kate Gosselin Says Her Kids Prefer To Celebrate Christmas With Her, Rather Than Their Dad Jon GosselinJoanna Mazewski
So much for sharing. Reality television star Kate Gosselin says her eight children are now at an age where they get to “choose” where they want to spend their holidays and according to her, they would rather be with their mom than their father, Jon Gosselin.
The celebrity mother says: “They’re at the age now where we ask them. So they basically dictate it and they want to be home Christmas and the days surrounding it.”
The Pennsylvania mom also adds that while the kids are too old to believe in Santa Claus anymore (for real?), they do let her know what toys are on their wish list. She says, “We don’t do Santa, but they give me the list, and they have really really big requests and I really really work really hard to honor them. The littlest ones want iPods and all this stuff, and I’m just like, ‘Oh my gosh.”
She added: “All that electronic equipment is so expensive. I’m trying to explain to them, ‘If that’s on your list then please understand there’s not going to be, like, a two-hour [Christmas present] opening session.’ They’re at the age where you have to explain that. You really have to do a disclaimer at the beginning before opening [gifts].”
Sounds to me like it’s one heck of a holiday over at the Gosselin house during Christmas. Tell us Babble readers, what do you think?
