Kate Gosselin’s Thanksgiving Day plans include feeding her large family, as she’ll have the kids for this holiday and Christmas too.
It can’t be easy when parents are divorced and have to figure out who the kids will be with for holidays, but Kate has noted in the past that she and ex-husband Jon Gosselin really do their best to make it fair for the kids.
I can only imagine the “who gets the kids for Christmas” planning must be a tough one to sort out though.
HollyBaby.com reports that Kate has the kids for Thanksgiving, with a source telling the site she “made it clear” she’d have the kids on turkey day and Christmas, so they’ll be celebrating in their Reading, Pennsylvania home.
No doubt Gosselin will share some highlights of the festivities on Twitter and her KatePlusMy8 website… maybe she’ll even share some recipes or money saving tips!
The source also notes that “Jon will most likely see them on Black Friday while Kate hits up the local deals on clothes and toys for the kids.” That beats Black Friday shopping any day!
Honestly, this is ridiculous. Those children need to be home for th holidays. That is where they live and that is Kate’s house. Like it or not, that is their home. Courts generally make it very specific in divorce decrees and they recognize the fact children need to be home. They generally are with the custodial parent until 3:00 pm in the afternoon and the non-custodial parent gets them at 3:00 pm if they choose.
This is about the STABILITY of those kids, not Jon and Kate and yes, this is best for them. And remember, Kate is shopping FOR her kids and that should matter and Jon should be happy to watch them while she shops.
Who is writing this? Kate? Get real. These kids should have access to both parents on holidays and not just their mother. I assure you, on Black Friday, Kate is not shopping for the kids. She is a selfish self absorbed woman who only does things for the kids so she will be in the lime light. That trip to Australia recently with Steve was not to help her kids. It was to give her publicity to highlight Kate. Her kids spend ALOT of time with caregivers. Your retort will be that it is because she is out earning money for them but you are naive to think that this is about the kids. This is all about Kate…3 cars, facelifts, tanning sessions, expensive hair salon trips. I don’t see how these children are benefitting from that.

she is manipulative, demanding, selfish, egotistical, and NONE of these traits mesh well with being a good, kind, loving mother. And for some reason the Courts let her get away with this time and time again.
I still haven’t figured out why the courts are allowing her to have the children all the time. Jon appears to be a good father and the kids appear to enjoy being with him. Granted, he is not able to give them all the things Kate does, but she is doing it with blood money.
