Kate Hudson Is Practicing Extreme NestingDanielle Sullivan
Before most of us have a baby, we go through a nesting period. I know I did. I decorated the nursery, picked out furniture and had every sheet and stuffed plush in its perfect place before I went into labor. My first daughter was born in July so right about this time of the year, I was in full swing nesting mode.
It’s something Kate Hudson, also due in July, can relate too. But Hudson is practicing some extreme nesting, more than most of us could ever afford.
Due in a just a few weeks, Hudson didn’t just spruce up her home to get ready for baby. She bought the million dollar house next to her own Pacific Palisades home.
Real Estalker has received confirmation that Hudson had purchased a $5.3-million Tudor revival style mansion next door to her current home in the Pacific Palisades.
The home was reportedly built in 1935 by a lumber tycoon, and owned and expanded – in the late 1980s and early 1990s by Paramount Pictures head Brad Grey. It is a five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom, 7,014-square foot house, described by Real Estalker as having “not just an air of architectural authenticity but also suffers from, regrettably, the posture of a semi-suburban McMansion.”
Just this past spring, Hudson and her fiancé, Matt Bellamy, the front man of Muse, bought a $6.5 million London mansion.
