Hello Yellow: Kate Hudson Looks Fabulous in Yellow Gown

Kate Hudson Something Borrowed

Kate Hudson Looks Fab in Yellow

Hello Yellow! Yellow is the hot color this Spring and celeb mom Kate Hudson looks fabulous in her yellow Versace dress!  The elegant mom-to-be was in her yellow frock for the Something Borrowed premiere in Los Angeles.

Everything is popping up yellow this Spring! From lemon yellow to marigold and poppy, yellow is THE color of Spring 2011!  The fashionistas at Refinery29 say Yellow is one of the can’t miss colors for 2011. But let’s be careful out there, Yellow can be an unfortunate color on some women.

According to the fashion gurus at Refinery29, here’s the scoop on Yellow:

“Yellow is often a tough shade for many women to pull off, but given the extremes it went to for spring, we’re willing to go there, despite the risks…from warm, buttery tone at Chanel to the palest, prettiest shades of chartreuse at Jason Wu and Proenza. In the spirit of the ’70s, modern shades of mustard emerged on the runways, too.”

There is a wide range of Yellow in style this Spring.  From this chic golden Vera Wang cocktail dress to a sunny Yellow nail polish from Deborah Lippmann—Spring 2011 is blooming with Yellow!

The Beauty Counter Blog, one of my favorite places to find new products, is raving about Deborah Lippmann’s Yellow Brick Road:

“With the release of her latest lacquer, Yellow Brick Road, Deborah Lippmann may have solved beauty’s yellow conundrum—for nails, at least.”

Yellow nail polish?  I might try it, how about you?
