Kate Middleton Wears a New Green Coat on St. Patrick's Day (Photos)

Kate Middleton is feeling very green today but then again, so is most of the planet today! The Duchess of Cambridge was on hand for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Aldershot, England where she presented a shamrock to the Irish Wolf Hound regimental mascot with Irish guards.

While Kate usually wears her favorite Emilia Wickstead coat for St. Patrick’s Day, this year she opted for a Hobbs Persephone coat, which she matched with a pretty glam green brooch for the occasion. And for those of you noticing all of her details, yes her hat is a slightly lighter shade of green than her coat. She still looks fab with all her green, of course! Say what you will about Kate Middleton, but I still find her to be a great style icon and a wonderful role model for my daughter. She always manages to look so classy and timeless and incredibly gorgeous at the same time. I mean, it’s not like we always have to push fashion boundaries by being edgy with our style, right? Being basic can be just as cutting edge with the right details and accessories, too.
