It would definitely be hard to top the special engagement ring that Prince William has already given Kate Middleton, right? So why try?
Instead of something over-the-top, how about something sophisticated yet understated…a wedding band of Welsh gold, perhaps?
Kate’s wedding band was created by Wartski; a family jewelry business, have a history of creating rings for the royal family. Wartski also made wedding bands for for The Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker-Bowles for their wedding in 2005.
According to a palace spokesperson, the gold used was from a piece of Welsh gold that was given to Prince William by Queen Elizabeth shortly after his engagement.
No word on the price of the ring, but I bet it cost more than I make all year!
