Kate Middleton Wedding Dress: Totally Channels Princess Grace

By Sunny Chanel |

What was the inspiration for Kate Middleton's Dress?

Did  Kate Middleton’s dress look a bit familiar to you? Yeah, I thought so to. Why? Because it totally looked like another very famous royal wedding dress – the wedding dress of Princess Grace. When Grace Kelly became Princess Grace of Monaco, she also wore a long sleeves, traditional, and conservative dress. Both had long lace sleeve, simple flat fronted skirt, and no frills and fluff.

Check out photos of Princess Grace’s dress circa 1956. Do you think Sarah Burton of the house of Alexander McQueen used this wedding gown as inspiration.
