Katie Couric spoofs Kate Gosselin's Kate Plus 8

Katie Couric was on Jimmy Kimmel recently to chat up her new talk show deal on ABC and plug her book, “The Best Advice I Ever Got,” but perhaps the most interesting part of the interview was Katie’s new reality series.

Well… not really, but Jimmy Kimmel played a very funny “Kate Plus 8″ spoof featuring Couric in “Katie Plus 80″ (video).

Kate Couric invites the cameras into her house, a la Gosselin, to get a glimpse at her life as a single parent raising 80 kids.

Just check out her meal delivery system, via slingshot… watch out for that meatball!

My favorite bit is the end of the Katie Plus Eighty Gosselin parody, as she shoves one kid off her leg and grumbles, “Get off me!”

Look for Katie Couric’s real daytime talk show in fall 2012.
