Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise had a mother-daughter play date.

Katie Holmes and her adorable daughter Suri Cruise were spotted returning home to their New York City apartment after a mother-daughter date at the Chelsea Piers.

Holmes and her daughter are currently in New York for the start of New York’s Mercedes-Benz fashion week which begins tonight (Sept. 8) with the highly-anticipated nationwide event Fashion’s Night Out.

And Suri, wearing an orange dress, looks annoyed by all the paparazzi attention. That poor girl can’t escape any of their attention. She might as well just become an actress because she can definitely handle the fame aspect of it all.
