Keira Knightley and Sheryl Crow Support World Water Day (Video)

Every year across the world, celebrities and regular, everyday people (like me!) celebrate World Water Day on March 22nd.

World Water Day is a day designed to promote internation efforts and draw attention to the global water crisis and the drastic actions that are needed to address it and help sustain freshwater resources.

Many celebrities show their support and belief in the World Water Day efforts. Actress Keira Knightley issued this statement:

“If you come from a place like Teddington or London, like me, you don’t know what it’s like to turn on a tap and take a drink always worrying about getting typhoid.” 

“I’d like to ask you to support WaterAid’s vital work to bring clean water to some of the world’s poorest people.”

Singer Sheryl Crow also strongly supports World Water Day. You can see her promoting the cause to ABC News here:
