Kim Kardashian: My Mother Told Me To Do Playboy Even Though I Was Uncomfortable
All of our mothers gave us bad advice at some point. I specifically remember one scarring day at the pool after my mother imparted the false wisdom that it was fine to go intothe water while wearing a maxi pad (seriously, mom what were you thinking?). Likewise, we will all similarly mess up and give our sons or daughters counsel on something that will go awry. However, most of us will never suggest our child pose nude in a magazine like Kris Jenner did.
Kim Kardashian’s mom and manager told her daughter to pose nude for Playboy to promote their show ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians,’ despite the fact that Kim did not want to.
“I’m sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable,” tells Kim. “‘Go for it,’ my mother said, ‘They might never ask you again.
Our show isn’t on the air yet. No one knows who you are. Do it and you’ll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you’re my age.’ ”
Someone forgot to tell Kris you can still take nude pictures and not have them published for the public to pick up on their neighborhood newsstand. But hey, their reality show is a hit. Maybe I just find it strange because I’m not in show business. Perhaps, this is a completely normal thing to tell your Hollywood child to do. What do you think?
