Kim Zolciak talks wedding, Kroy, and her baby KJ!

Kim Zolciak had quite the year in 2011. She married her longtime love Kroy Biermann and gave birth to their son little KJ! Now, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is dishing about her year and the highlights she’ll always remember.

When asked how different it is having a baby at an older age, Kim said, I definitely think being 10 years older, I have a lot more patience. I was a single mom with a 4-year-old and a newborn the last time. So I just had to get through the day. And now I’m in a position where I have Kroy, and I do have help when I leave town. I have a nanny who I trust. And it’s great. I feel like with my girls, because I was working two jobs, I missed some of their milestones because I was trying to just make money and pay the bills.”

Even though she had some hesitations and friends warning her not to date such a young guy, Kim saw something in Kroy that let her know he was “the one.”I was in such a good place when I met him. I had been single for a while, and I was just focusing on my career — and I think timing is everything. And then after I met him, he just sent me a text that said, “It was really great to meet you. I’ll be in touch.” Some guys, when you meet them, they try to play it cool for a couple days. But Kroy just sent me that text. And, honestly, people always say you just know when you meet The One. And almost immediately I just knew. Pretty much from the beginning we were inseparable.”

So how does Kim feel about her 2011? “My life has definitely changed. I never thought in a million years that I would just meet somebody and my life would just change so much, so fast. I can’t tell you how many times I just walk around every day and thank God. I’m just so blessed.”
