LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian Take 6-Year-Old Girl To Disney World

What, was Brandi Glanville not available?

Bonus mom and Twitterholic LeAnn Rimes and her husband, Eddie Cibrian made one little girl’s day very special by taking them to Disneyland as part of the Wish Upon a Hero Foundation’s program.

The 29-year-old former chart topper helped make 6-year-old Cadenese Cogswell’s dream come true by flying out her family from Hawaii to visit Disneyland. E! Online has all the details:

Disneyland lived up to its reputation as the happiest place on Earth yesterday—with a little help from LeAnn Rimes.

The singer and her husband, Eddie Cibrian, spent Monday afternoon with 6-year-old Cadence Cogs, who is suffering from multiple disorders, with one leading to blindness. The little girl’s dream was to visit and see Disneyland before she completely lost her sight.

Rimes and Cibrian worked with the Wish Upon a Hero foundation and arranged to fly out Cadence and her family from their home in Honolulu for a weeklong stay at Disneyland after reading a post about Cadence’s plight on Twitter.

“Just spent a lovely hr with the most beautiful family, the Cogs family,” Rimes later tweeted. “Cadence is a blessing. She was so wide eyed & the family so grateful! A little girl’s whole life was made today and her whole family got to share in her joy. @wishuponahero THIS is why you guys should be so proud of the organization you have created.”

Ok, I’ll admit it: this was a pretty cool thing for LeAnn and Eddie to do. But I’m stopping right there.

Wait? A weeklong stay? So that means we are going to see daily staged photo-ops of Leann and Eddie at Disneyland for a week now? This is sick. Why does the media keep falling for Leann’s pr stunts? Leann is campaigning to be a judge on XFactor and trying to promote her new album(which she said that she would be recording this week), so does this “good deed” come as a surprise? Notice how the trip was planned during the week that Simon C and the producers of XFactor are considering judges for the show and the very same week that Leann annouced on twitter that she would be recording for her new album? This was just a publicity stunt to get Leann and Eddie’s names and faces in the press, and it worked. If this was a good thing, Leann would have done it without inviting the paps so that she could recognition for it. Leann is still tweeting about Brandi’s kids, single white femaling Brandi, and inviting the paps to EC son’s soccer games, so how exactly are we to believe that she was sincere about helping the sick child when she can’t even show that same compassion to BG and her kids? We also saw Leann and Eddie go on 2-3 vacactions in less than 2 months, so why exactly did they have to work with the organization, when Leann could have covered ALL THE expenses? It’s dishonest to even say that Eddie worked with the foundation because all he did was show up for the staged photo-op. According to Leann’s own tweets, it was Leann and the Jonathan J guy who set this up. Eddie didn’t do anything. This can also be seen as Leann Rimes doing damage control because she received a lot of backlash from her fans after canceling two of her shows over the weekend, claiming that she had the flu despite the fact that she was out partying and drinking at 2am the previous night. So Leann thinks that she can get into their good graces by plastering a staged photo-op of her and Eddie with a sick child all over the internet? It’s a sad day when organizations allow two of the most notorious attention seekers in Hollywood to turn their organization into the Leann and Eddie show. Leann is flashing her wedding ring in the photos and all over Eddie. Is that the image that the sick child and the organization had in mind when they worked with Leann?

How interesting, so just days after she is “spotted” at Disneyland with a sick child, Leann Rimes releases a “snippet” of a song from her new album? See, she used that child for publicity. So Leann thinks that she can get people to buy her album and be a judge on Simon C show by pretending to play nice with Brandi(despite the fact that she is still sending her fans to certain sites to write nasty posts about Brandi) and pretending to be heavily involved in charity cause. When will she learn that she can’t trick people into liking her or buying her music? Just because she manipulates media outlets like HGTV, E News, Dailymail, Radaronline/Star, US Weekly(Darrell Brown just fed them a story about how Leann is being nice to Brandi and Eddie’s friends to keep Eddie happy), and People magazine via money/threats of lawsuits, it doesn’t mean that the public is going to fall for her antics. How come she just won’t do the right thing? She would get a better reception from the public if she would just close the twitter account and blog, respect BG as the children’s mother, stop the staged photo-ops, stop the interviews about BG and EC kids, stop encouraging her fans to write nasty posts about BG on certain sites, and stop using Star magazine/Radaronline to write negative stories about Brandi, and stop paying US Weekly to convince everyone that LR is being nice to BG.
