Is Life Unexpected cancelled? Not yet, although there is little hope for the little show that could.Â
In a world where there are a shrinking pool of what we would call family friendly television shows, Life Unexpected is a show that has consistently shown the difficulties of just being a family in today’s world.Â
Once upon a time there was a premium of family oriented shows that any parent could feel comfortable watching with their kids, now there are an increasing number of murder mysteries and inappropriate comedies with little room in the schedule for true families.Â
While all signs point to last night’s double episode being the swan song for Life Unexpected, there is a small glimmer of hope for fans. The upcoming DVD was just renamed from Life Unexpected: The Complete Series to Life Unexpected: The Complete First and Second Seasons.   However since the production has wrapped and the writers have moved on to other projects, it is still highly unlikely that we’ll be seeing any more of Lux, Cate, or Baze.  We’ll all have to wait until May to see if the show gets officially cut for next year.

I Love this show the way that the season left off made it seem to me that it was not coming back I would be very disappointed
I really hope that they don’t cancel Lux. It was a really good show. It is one of CW’s best efforts and it’d be sad to see it go away, though last night’s wrap up in the last two minutes of the show does appear to be just that, a series wrap-up. Last minute ditch effort to sew things up neatly.

I can name at least 10 others, that SHOULD be cancelled instead of Life Unexpected! This is by far some of the best writers, producers and actors on TV!! *Keeping my fingers crossed!!
After watching last night’s show, I realized this great series has come to an end. How sad. I am not a teenager and thought this was quality family tv. The acting was so superb – Lux is an amazing actress and the story lines were terrific. What a shame.
I cought an episode before Christmas and had to watch them all so for three days I had a lux marathon. I love the show… I am keeping my fingers crossed for may in hopes its include in the new line up.
Life Unexpected was one of the best new TV shows to come along in quite a while. I never missed an episode. Judging by the number of commercials that aired during the 2-hour season finale, the show certainly wasn’t hurting for advertisers. I would be thrilled if it got picked up for another season. There are so many stories about these characters still to be told. I can’t believe it didn’t have a larger audience; everything about it was excellent.
I love this show! It would be a shame to not see what happens to everyone. I am not a teenager and as an adult I was hooked.

Please dont cancle this show. This is my fave show on tv and I luv it. I luv all the cast members and the show is just the best. So please dont cancle. Baze is sexy although i never saw the ending coming. So please dont leave it like this..Bring on another season please
I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THIS SHOW SINCE IT FIRST AIRED ON TELEVISION LAST YEAR, AND I LOVE. SO DOES MY FAMILY. WE ALL WATCH IT TOGETHER EVERY WEEK! IT IS A VERY GOOD CLEAN SHOW. I GUESS THAT IS THE REASON THEY WANT TO CANCEL IT. EVERY TIME A GOOD SHOW COMES ON THEY WANT IT CANCELLED.
THIS SHOW RELATES TO REAL LIFE SITUATIONS, AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES IT SO GOOD. I REALLY HOPE THEY DECIDE TO RETHINK THIS DECISION AND NOT CANCEL THE SHOW.
This is one of the better shows that has aired television in a long time. I hope they decide not to cancel it. The show is so unique and it is the only show out there right now that has this kind of theme. I kinda like it. The characters are also unique and good at playing their part. That is what makes the show worth watching!!!!!!!!!!
Life Unexpected is a wonderful show. I LOVE the show and ALL of the characters that play in it. The show is so good because it is different than everything else that is on t.v. these days. I am tired of watching shows/movies about vampires, cheerleaders, and sex. Life unexpected is reality. There is so much truth that comes out of that story. Maybe all of the misfortunes that happen do happen in real life. They might not all happen at once to the same person, however they do happen. People can relate to the show with their own life and that is what makes it worth the time to watch. I plan my Tuesday nights around watching it!!!!! I have watched it faithfully since it first aired last season. I am sad to see it go. Maybe I will just quit watching CW all together!!!!!!!!!!
Life Unexpected is so well done! From the set, storylines, actors, and music it is all something I look forward to each week. It is a show that is different than any other show on TV. During the season finale I teared up twice…it is such a heartwarming show. This is a quality show and the CW needs to rethink their decision before canceling it.
I was so dissappointed when I watched how the show was going to have it’s final end. I was really looking forward in watching episodes in how Kate and Baze will finally be a real couple. I really hope it dont get cancel.
Finally, a great show comes along and then it gets cancelled…Something is wrong with the entertainment business!
I sure hope they reconsider. My two teenagers and I watch this together and it opens up a lot of discussions about what goes on in their lives. This is a great show and I hope to see it in the future!!!!!!
I saw an episode online at the beginning of season 2 and went back and watched all os season one and two now. I love the show it is a must see up there with my One Tree HIll addiction. I unfortunately cannot watch it on tv because I live overseas. So I watch it on the internet I hope doesn’t take away from the numbers if there are more people out there like me.
I’m a new viewer and just fell in love with the show…. I’m sure there are more like me. Great writing, accessible characters – I really hope it’s renewed and doesn’t drown in the swampland of crummy TV.
I’m not going to lie – I followed it every now and then the first season but was not totally attatched. However, this season made me a true fan. I am extremely dissapointed that there were only 13 episodes. I loved the finale. I always liked the idea of her and jones and now that it happened the show is over? I think it deserves more time. A lot of people I know didn’t like the first season very much because it was setting up the show. Now, the second season started telling a riveting story. I like the fact that it’s about family, loyalty, and teen relationships. It’s well written and only better things could have come. I really hope it’s given another shot. I wanna know what happens with her and jones. Baze and Kate. Ryan. Math. Tasha. There’s so much more to be told.
PLEASE do not cancel Life Unexpected!!! It is so much better than the other WB shows.
I waited about a month for what i thought was the season finale to find out it may have been the series finale?!?!?!? I really like the show and I have my kids watch it with me. I also tell my teenage nieces to watch it as well. I hope that was not the last show.
So sad to see it go……loved this show.
Please do not cancel this show. It is the best show to come along in a very long time. There is a lot of story to tell us. Trust. me. This show will become more and more popular as time goes on. Like “Brothers and Sisters” let it run the network will not regret it…Please Please
Are you all nuts at the CW? Best show on TV and you cancel it. Who is running that station? Cancel that stupid vampire show or Hellcats not the best show on the network.
This show was amazing, I never missed an episode, and for the CW to think that the whole thing could be wrapped up in less than 2 minutes was bogus, not to mention the fact that if this was the route the CW was wanting to take as far as cancelling the show then why make me (and all the other fans) wait over a month and half to just be slapped in the face with a “series finale” type ending. There are a few other shows that should be cancelled before Life Unexpected, it’s just a shame that the CW would do such a thing.
I’m astonished. It was one of the top prioroties on my DVR list. Loved the characters, the unexpected twists, and the actors were fantastic. Very disappointed to hear it was canceled!

I am very sad to see this show end.I think it should come back last night she was a 10th grader an then a12th grader in 2012 u skipped a grade.I looked forwarded to watching this show I only watch one other show an that’s One Tree Hill. You just took the best show off.I’m a mother of a teenager an just could not believe this.Please rethink this there are so many cop shows on an not enough family shows.

This was one of the best shows on TV today. It deals with reality and did not necessarily have a weekly “happy ending”. I commend the writers and the actors and wish that it could continue. All of the story lines had a ring of truth to them without any silly sugar coating. Who do we call to get it back????

I really hope that they don’t cancel this show!!!! It is one of my favorite shows, if not my favorite all together! Please give it another shot!!! they could always start the story where they left off and do “flash backs” to fill the viewers in more.. etc.
It would be cool if Lux ran into Eric in college..
This show is so different and special, it really deserves another chance!!!
If they can still keep One Tree Hill on the air, there has to be an audience for this show. Are there seriously more people watching Hellcats and Nakita? It’s not like the CW has the highest ratings anyway. This show is so touching, and with all the different storylines it is something that teenagers and their patents can both get into. At least they tied up the loose ends with this one if they are cancelling it – unlike when they just ripped Gilmore Girls off the air with no warning. C’est la vie.
This is one of my favorite shows on tv. I have not missed an episode since it started. I will watch every episode for the next 10 years if it’s brought back. There is nothing like it on television and I would hate to see it go!
I love this show, one of the few Real life shows, started watching it because of the story line, so true…Great acting, too, Not over the top and fake.
Take off the cop and robbers and murder shows, I like family shows that people can relate to. Everyday struggles and working it out relationships.
Please do not cancel.

I absolutely love this show this is one of my favorites…..seriously PIX11 is really irritating me….first it was the cancellation of The Game when it was CW (thankfully another network picked them up) and now LIFE Unexpected…..I love this show the characters, the story line it’s deep, its real and I have yet to watch this show and not have it tug at my heart strings…..bring them back!!!!

They always cancel the good shows! I just picked up on this show this year and fell in love with it and now to learn it might be cancelled is disappointing. Dont take another good show away, there is so much garbage on tv….nice to see something like this!!! Truly hope it makes it to another season!!!!

I love this show. It’s one of my favorites. I will totally disappointed if it were to get cancelled. I was a little confused by the ending…which would leave viewers to believe it was the end. I sure hope not.
I am a HUGE Fan of the show! I will be very disappointed if the show is cancelled. I really thought that a lot of the audience could relate, particularly since there is so many split/blended families today. I hope that the show comes back next season!!
I agree with previous posts… there are many “junk” shows that are like all the other shows out there that could be cancelled… Why cancel something that kids relate to that I don’t mind them watching? I love the show – it would really be a shame to lose a great show that show’s family drama in a yound adult realm – like Parenthood…
I really enjoy Life Unexpected, it was a good show that you could watch with family, and it is hard to find shows like this anymore. It has a way to relate with everyone. We all have some sort life issue that we can relate to someone in the show in some way. I think it would truly be a shame if CW cuts life unexpected, especially if some of the trashier, foul shows continue to air.

I was shocked at the ending last night. I really couldn’t believe it. I can’t believe they are cancelling the show. I really enjoyed this show. But now that you have taked us two years in the future all in one show, I mean, where do you go from here anyway? It would have been nice to see how they all got to that point, but oh well. Hopefully they will bring it back, and if not, another show I am sure…….
This is one of the best shows on CW 11. Who makes these decisions. Everyone I know watches this show. Please keep it on
I am over 50, and I love this show! I have watched since the beginning and never missed an episode. Please don’t cancel this show, it is one of the few decent shows on television. Since they jumped ahead two years on the last episode, they could always have Kate faint after seeing the pregnant Julia (or what she thought was Julia) and she imagined the whole ending while she was unconscious.
I am also over 50 and really enjoy this show…sometimes it has the tendancy to be a little “soap opera-ee”, but there are so few family shows on anymore. I say “let’s keep it!’ (Not to mention, I’m not too old to appreciate Baze without a shirt!)
