Lil Wayne out of jail

Lil Wayne is out of jail this morning after serving eight months of having a load gun on his tour bus in 2007.

“FREE AT LAST!!!!!!!” his manager, Cortez Bryant, Tweeted Thursday morning.

Did jail time change Lil Wayne?  Doesn’t seem like it.

Lil Wayne will head to his crib in Miami where friends are planning a welcome home bash Sunday night.  Celebrities expected to attend are Drake, Jay Sean and Cash Money CEO and rapper Bryan “Birdman” Williams.

“I was never scared, worried nor bothered by the situation” behind bars, Lil Wayne said via Weezythanxyou.com, a website he set up to give fans the inside on his jail life at Riker’s Island.

Guess jail time wasn’t too bad for the Grammy winner because while incarcerated, he released “I Am Not a Human Being” while in solitary confinement in September.  The song hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

You’d think he’d want to spend some quality time with his four kids – that’s right, he is a dad to  daughter Reginae, and three sons, Dwayne, Lennox, and Neal.

Perhaps Lil Wayne hasn’t changed at all.
