Lone Star Cancelled - Con Men Just Aren't As Enticing As They Used To BeEmma Brady
Lone Star is the first casualty of the fall TV Season. The freshman series finds itself as the first officially cancelled show of the 2010 TV season.
The news should come as no shock to TV viewers as the first two episodes were so lowly rated that it appears next-to-no-one was watching it. I actually deleted the first two episodes off the DVR yesterday to make room for tonight’s episode of America’s Next Top Model without watching them!
The show had some buzz going into the TV series with its old-school Dallas premise of a con-man torn between two lives.
There is one guy who will be surprised by the quick cancellation – celeb grandpa Jon Voight! “I think it’s going to be a hit!” he declared earlier this month. “With this premise, you wonder how they can keep it going. It’s amazing what they’re discovering, how they’re working things in.”
Look for Lie to Me to kick off its third season earlier than expected as it moves into Lone Star’s vacated Monday night timeslot.
